ABOUT US
CULTURE/MISSION
We are a (non-denomination) Body of Christ who gather together in our homes to pursue God and His Kingdom (Matthew 6:33). On most Sundays, we come together in circles, uniting in praise, prayer, Bible teaching, and fellowship. On the last Sunday of each month, we have “Celebration Sundays” which are formatted more after a traditional Sunday service where we join in worship and hear the message.
We also believe in the importance of Sabbath rest (Genesis 2:2). Many of us know the diligence it takes to serve in ministry on top of school/career responsibilities and/or raising a family. Consequently, our weeknights and weekends aren't fully dedicated to do the things we enjoy and with the people we love.
This is why we value the Sabbath. After every few weeks of meeting together, our church intentionally takes a Sabbath. This is to ensure we honor God's Word and for our leaders and members to genuinely rest from their church commitments.
At Redeem Church, our culture isn't catered towards the question “What can our members do for the church?”
Rather, we take an inward approach by asking “How can Redeem Church better serve God and each other?” as these were the guiding principles of the early church (Acts 2:42-47).
Thus, the mission of Redeem Church is simple.
We strive to return to these foundational value systems of truth, love, and service - within the Body and extended to our communities - as was first modeled perfectly to us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
